Benefits you paid into, when you need them most
Sometimes, because of tragic accidents, diseases or medical conditions, people become disabled and can no longer work. We take pride in our experience helping deserving Americans fight for the Social Security Disability benefits they have often paid into their entire working lives. Let us fight for you.

What this can look like
- You can no longer work because of an injury, illness or medical condition
- Your application for SSDI or SSI was denied
- You're waiting on a reconsideration or a hearing before a judge
- Your benefits were stopped after a review
The law on your side
Social Security Disability claims move through set stages. Many strong claims are denied at first and approved later on appeal.
- SSDI and SSI
- Social Security Disability Insurance is based on your work history and the Social Security taxes you paid. Supplemental Security Income is a needs-based program with different rules.
- The appeal stages
- Application, reconsideration, a hearing before an administrative law judge, the Appeals Council and then federal court.
- How attorney fees work
- Fees in Social Security cases are set by federal law, must be approved by the Social Security Administration and generally come from past-due benefits.
Mind the clock
After a denial you generally have 60 days to appeal to the next stage. Missing that window can mean starting over, so reach out as soon as you receive a decision letter.
These are general time limits, not legal advice. The deadline that applies to you depends on your facts.
What to gather
You don't need all of this to reach out. Bring what you have.
- Any letters from the Social Security Administration, especially denials
- A list of your doctors, clinics and hospitals with dates of treatment
- Your medications and side effects
- Your recent work history, with job titles and dates
- Notes on what your condition stops you from doing day to day
Common questions
I was denied. Should I just apply again?
Usually an appeal is the better path, because a new application can lose the date your benefits would start. Talk with us before you decide.
Can I work part time while I apply?
Sometimes, but earnings above certain limits can affect a claim. We'll walk through your situation.
